BORKUMRIFF IV on Display at Monaco Yacht Show

TB Yachting is happy to announce that Borkumriff IV a 2002 50.58m Schooner built by Royal Huisman will be displayed at the Monaco Yacht Show (28 Sept – 01 Oct 2022).

The yacht will be displayed in collaboration with Camper & Nicholsons International.

Borkumriff IV was commissioned by an experienced owner who united a shipyard and design team that represent some of the most important names in classic sailing yachts.  Her exterior lines come from the design office of American schooner specialist John G. Alden, and her naval architecture was managed by Dutch design house, Dykstra, whose award–winning modern replicas are icons of the sailing superyacht fleet.

The interior layout features a saloon and interior dining space on the main deck, and the accommodation on the lower deck.  The full-beam master suite is to aft and benefits from a separate study, and there are two guest cabins (configured as twins) midship.  All the accommodation is en suite.  There’s separate accommodation for the crew in generously proportioned cabins, and a sizeable ship’s galley.

Borkumriff IV carries two tenders on her teak decks and can also boast the addition of two canons, which are used to mark the lowering of the flag at sunset.

Built for worldwide cruising, this fast and seaworthy yacht embodies the golden age of yachting.  She has only ever been used privately and has been maintained to the highest standards.
